The Good Old L-xbow! This classic of PvE DPS in Albion is still he most popular DPS build out there for HCE, due to its effectiveness and relatively low silver cost. The Light Crossbow player will need to master the rotation, which after a while becomes second nature, but without which no real high DPS can be attained. Playing around the Well-Prepared passive on your weapon is key! Always set up "Double Q's" by starting the rotation with them stacked, and then always reverting to: Q+Q > 2 spells > Q+Q > 2 spells... . L-xbow players are now being recommended the Royal Robe, as it is the better option, BUT if you party already has a Royal Robe, try using that trusty Druid Robe, for MAX PARTY DPS!! And yes Caerleon Cape is the new shiny gem in the chest, it trumps Demon Cape in DPS by a lot! Keep in mind though, you'll need to play around that cape cooldown to get the most out of it!

The Frost Mage is another popular and effective option for those looking to deal some damage! A lot easier to manage than the Light Crossbow, since there aren't really any passives to play around on, and with the added bonus of the Chillhowl being able to reach over 1900 IP! Using you Ice Shard (Q) and Frost Bomb (W) you'll attain the highest possible DPS you could with any Frost staff! And if the Avalonian option doesn't suit you, even though you'll never deal as much damage without it, other frost staves are very much viable, but try to stick to the One Handed options, seen as you really want that Cryptcandle in there!

The Fire Mage is a less popular but very effective DPS build, that combines big AoE bursts and some DoT damage to delete the mob packs! The Blazing Staff is your best bet for this task, but you could probably see some success on the Avalonian Dawnsong. It is a more difficult build to play, since you need to play around your E ability cooldown, which you must strive to have ready for every mob clump! With some practice and knowledge you'll see the packs fall one after another, charred to a crisp before you!
